Let the nations be glad
and sing for joy!
Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you!

Psalm 67:3-4

Clarkston, GA is known as the “most diverse square mile in America” and the “Ellis Island of the South.” For decades it has been a primary location for refugees to first settle in America.

Love’s Latitude is an organization in Clarkston, GA, whose mission is to share the Gospel with refugees while providing sustainable humanitarian aid and encouraging and helping others to do the same.

This summer, the CTK Youth will partner with Love’s Latitude to meet, serve, and share the gospel with refugees. The team will stay in the Clarkston apartment kept by Love’s Latitude, and will spend three days prayer-walking, sharing meals with local refugee families, and helping to organize a block party and school-supply drive for refugee children, all while learning about the opportunities and challenges of gospel ministry to refugees.

We pray the trip will introduce our youth to the reality of refugee life, the pressing need for the gospel to go forth among all nations, and how so many opportunities for cross-cultural mission exist in our own backyard!
