Luke the Evangelist records several important details in the 24th chapter of his Gospel, all of which testify to Christ’s bodily resurrection from the dead. St. Paul says that this is the pivotal doctrine of the Christian faith, going so far as to say that “if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins” (1 Cor. 15:17).
